Blonde Chunks Over Brown Hair

On a topic like this, I thought, who knows what this writer can pull off so witty, so sharp in outline and tic photo finish in Turin and its human fauna, so always intelligent and skilled in identifying the social changes and new just popped! But no. A firework fuse with the wet. Not that the stories are poorly written at all, if an author were learned by novice will find them excellent. But the writing that made me laugh shining alone or read with the same style with which he discards once again a gianduiotto, of which you already know the taste but do not you ever tire ... no, I have not found here. I think that is what is called "publishing operation," a book that is put together with what is already done in the expectation that the author hurry to churn out the next. Too bad. Do not add anything to Stefania Bertola and saddened his fans. I continue to count me among them, and I look forward to the next novel that I hope his tattered and full of very nice girls, crackling gently absurd stories, find fun with each page. A la prochaine, Stefania, I do not have to disappoint you but not to see more.

Can You Customize A Desert Eagle

Valeria Amerano, In the fist stars

know Amerio Valeria for many years now and I had to appreciate how the writing in many award-winning stories, but this is his first novel I read.
But it does not follow fashion and the ease of film noir at all costs, the comforting narrative, and this may make it difficult to be recognized its value. Of course it would be worth publishing house that some courageous and above all taste the reprint and would invest in promotion.
conclude with a quote, the final sentence: I've always all accompanied to the cemetery, my dead, but I've never been able to bury them.

César Aira, Ema, the prisoner

I finally got to read a little 'me what happened, following the suggestions of pleasure and chance. I started with a book that I kept there for a while ', Ema, the prisoner César Aira, original edition of 1981, published by Basic Books in 1991 Bollati. Since I had never heard of the author, I did a little research and I found this Argentine writer, born in 1949 in Coronel Pringles in the province of Buenos Aires, is extremely prolific (more than fifty books published novels, short stories and essays ), and has a great influence on the literary scene in his country. In Italy, in addition to this book, I found How I became a nun, that when it came out (2007) had some reviews that I vaguely remember, and The Wizard, both released by Feltrinelli. This novel is truly unique. Fascinating, draws the reader to pages and pages before you start to realize that something is wrong. Set in the nineteenth century, tells of a group of soldiers and forced to travel for months at a location along the border, far away and very remote, the same that Pringles, tried on a map, is not far away in Buenos Aires. The first part is about a French engineer who then disappears, and the second Ema becomes the protagonist of the title. The military is especially of drunkards bottomless, and even violent convicts carrying on carts, not to mention the women getting pregnant and treated worse than rags for shoes. Around whites move the Indians gradually become more important and present, who are one of the most fantastic inventions of the novel: una specie di popolo di dandy, che pensano tutto il tempo all'eleganza, a dipingersi il corpo e i capelli, a bere di tutto, a fare il bagno, a osservare un'etichetta rigida, a fare gite senza motivo in posti strani, a accoppiarsi, suonare e farsi ammirare. Il punto che per me è stato fondamentale, dove ho capito che dovevo abbandonare need to know if the stories Aira told me they had a claim to realism or fantasy were dropped from the likelihood, by logic, even the narrative coherence, is the meeting of the troops on the march with pack of sea lions: Call les chiennes and described as skeletal and elegant greyhounds, with long queues and no ears, long legs and awkward gait, well, 'I was forced to go to see pictures of google to confirm that the seals are all different, similar only to seals which are close relatives. And Aira, seraphic, is said to Lieutenant Lavalle: 'm pretty decorative, no doubt. You will not believe, but belong to the same family delle foche.
Bisogna sicuramente avere voglia di abbandonarsi all'immaginazione, alla sospensione dell'incredulità , essere ben disposti a lasciarsi stupire, ma questo è un romanzo (benissimo translated by Angelo Morino, no less) that can fascinate and above is different, very different from the usual soup that provides publishing. I'm not saying that I would like every day but well worth the effort of inoltrarvisi, as in a very foreign and alien land but rich in exotic attractions.

BAD VISIONS, Danilo Arona

never worked so hard in this period from the time of maturity. Understood as an examination, not as a state. However, I could not write a line for more than a month, more than five weeks to be exact, and I wanted to write extensively in the book of Daniel Arona Bad Visions, which I enjoyed very much, but I can only now and more soon. I use a word, fun, which may seem strange to refer to a novel (or rather two, The station of God and the Sound Blue Siren, gathered in this volume) that aims to inspire horror chills, not laughter. In fact, I have tried many chills and I have not laughed at all. But I enjoyed it because my brain as well as my skin and my back and every other corner where you can experience chills, has been largely stimulated, intrigued, challenged, etc. etc..
Per cui le sue storie di orrore, con ambientazioni che spaziano tra l'Appennino ligure, Ibiza, Barcellona e l'ieri, l'oggi e il domani ( La stazione del Dio del Suono ), il Kent del Giro di vite di Henry James e le discoteche dove we haul anything ( Blue Siren ) are scary, take away the ground from beneath your feet, give the same chilling sensation of instability of an earthquake and at the same time leave the reader more than satisfied.
Recommended for those who know how to enjoy even the brain.
